“The association structures, but also the professional cultures, are strongly segmented in the Swiss real estate industry. Spatial planning, architecture and urban development, GUs and TUs, are separate worlds with their own reference systems, not to mention the master builders and building authorities in municipalities and cantons. The ULI culture and ULI meetings can help to overcome these divisions. I also think it is good that private and public developers are strongly represented in the ULI and thus form a certain counterweight to the dominance of planners in the public discussion.”
– Dr. Thomas Held, Member of ULI Switzerland –
“As a long-time member of ULI, I greatly appreciate this unique combination of think tank and communications platform. Meetings and conferences are always at the highest level and publications and best practices are extremely valuable. So it’s fantastic that ULI is finally coming to Switzerland. This will also help in the urgent professionalisation and internationalisation of this rather internal, small sector.”
– Thomas Sevcik, Managing Director, arthesia –
