The Subject Matter

A wave of change is coming that might soon make the way we work almost unrecognizable to today’s models. To succeed, we need to discover new ways of organizing, performing, and leading, along with new approaches to engaging employees in contemporary work space.

The Project in Focus

The Ambassador House, located in the upcoming area north of Zurich’s city center, was completely renovated in 2017. The project aimed at integrating the prominent building within its altered urban surroundings and highlighting ist unique cuboid shape. The three-part structure of foundation, central building and upper floors has been preserved. The entire ground floor and part of the first floor are dedicated to public use such as restaurants, retail, conferences and fitness spaces. The remaining floors are used as offices and are meant to spark creativity and ignite entrepreneurial spirit, with a modern design and organisation. The building has a gross floor area of 129’200 m2 and rentable area of 57’800 m2. It has been awarded with a LEED Platin label.
