Our Youth creates the City
Our students are our future. In particular, the young generation of urban dwellers in Germany has their own ideas and visions of what their city should look like. But how do you shape and design your urban environment? This is where UrbanPlan comes in: The educational program of ULI Germany gives upper school classes in Germany an introduction to the fascinating world of neighbourhood and urban development. Since 2017, UrbanPlan has already been successfully implemented in more than 40 German schools.
For this outstanding project ULI Germany received the Real Estate Manager Award 2018 in the category Social Responsibility – click here for the video!
The project day at schools is conceived for pupils of the upper school with the special subjects geography, economics, law or social studies. Within the framework of the learning unit, skills in project and team work are trained. The lively teaching format conveys approaches to how complex tasks and decisions can be solved and presented in a result-oriented way.
