The ULI Europe Young Leaders Autumn Study Tour – from 5 – 6 November in Berlin!  The event will bring together speakers from a range of different disciplines to share thoughts on net-zero carbon cities and creating a more sustainable built environment.

The programme will include:

• Keynote on ‘Bauhaus der Erde’ – A non-profit organisation, founded exactly 100 years after the original Bauhaus, with the objective to transform the built environment to be more environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive
• Smart City Workshop: ‘How to integrate green into your project planning?’ – hosted by Drees & Sommer
• Historical bus tour of Berlin
• Site Visit of ‘Die Macherei Berlin-Kreuzberg’– A development which includes: the “Holz-Carré” (M40), an innovative new wood-hybrid construction; the 90-meter-high “design -Tower “(M50), an ecological revitalisation; and the completely climate-neutral “Zero-CO2-Haus “(M60)
• Four-course dinner at FREA – Berlin’s first vegan and zero-waste restaurant
